1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the MatchPulse platform (“Service”), operated by MatchPulse, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our hosted Privacy Policy (https://matchpulse.com/privacy). If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the Service.
2. Sideline Scoring & Scorekeeper Role
MatchPulse provides real-time youth sports clock management, scorekeeping, personal telemetry logging, and spectator feeds. Scorekeepers and team managers agree to record match incidents in good faith. MatchPulse is an independent matchday companion and does not supersede official league referee game cards or official sanctioning body records.
3. Youth Athlete Passports & Guardian Authority
Users creating or claiming Athlete Passports represent and warrant that they are the parent or court-appointed legal guardian of the minor athlete, or have received explicit parental authorization.
Primary guardians retain full control over profile visibility (Public vs. Private) and may command the permanent erasure of their child's stored data at any time via the in-app deletion tools.
4. Single-Season Passes & Team Licensing
MatchPulse operates a transparent team pricing model. A Single-Season Team Pass grants full access to sideline scoring, unlimited spectators, and calendar sync for the designated team and season period. All transactions processed via Stripe are subject to Stripe's financial service terms.
5. Mobile SMS Communications (Twilio A2P 10DLC)
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS opt-in checkbox during verification or profile setup, you agree to receive automated transactional and security text messages from MatchPulse. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for assistance.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not: (a) impersonate another parent, coach, or guardian; (b) upload unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized video footage of minors; (c) attempt to reverse engineer or extract match telemetry through unauthorized automated scrapers; (d) circumvent platform authentication or access controls.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
MatchPulse is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. MatchPulse disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchPulse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.
